On the Andy Griffith Tour, leashed dogs can join their owners on a nostalgic getaway to Mount Airy and an easier time. Mount Airy is Andy Griffith's hometown and the true inspiration of Mayberry, home of Opie, Andy, Aunt Bee, Otis, and many other characters. Blue Blaze Brewing is a dog friendly establishment. On a leash, dogs can follow their owners out into the lovely outdoor area, provided they're checked and tidy. This brewery has a delicious selection of beers to try, including a variety of beers on tap. Yellow Blazer Kölsch is one of their most exciting and popular beers. There is also food from the food trucks that pass by. Blue Blaze Brewing is open from 4pm. until 9 p.m. Tuesday to Wednesday, 3 p.m. at 9 p.m. Thursday, 2 p.m. Until 10 a.m. Friday, 12 p.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, 12 p.m. to 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
